Terrible experience. Avoid this agency if you can. We had a reservation at 10:30 AM, but the assigned car hadn’t arrived. They didn’t offer a similar alternative, and after 45 minutes with no update, we asked — only to be told, quite rudely, to just wait. They offered a lower-category car for the same price, and when we refused, their attitude worsened. Eventually, another employee gave us a car of the same standard that had been available all along. On top of that, there’s no designated parking area to return the car. Very unprofessional. Update: they charged us twice the price!

In all my years I have never been treated better at a car rental business then I did with employee, Binta. From the first moment she did all she possibly could to make our rental transaction easy and transparent. Furthermore returning vehicle to Charles de Gaulle airport was plain sailing. Thank you Binta and Enterprise for a great experience. .

Le Havre France. Location by port staff were great. The cars on the other hand need work. I need to swap car on day two, horn was not working. Which is very important when driving in France.

Picked up a rental from Le Havre for a 4-day trip to Mont St Michel, Loire Valley, Chartres and Paris. Except for a problem with the key battery, the car was good to drive and we had a great trip.

Like quite a few reviews on this site, we booked a small car in advance with this location, as we were arriving on a Cruise and only had a day to explore. We were aware that the location opened at 8:30 and arrived in the morning a few minutes after it opened to find at least 10 people waiting to pick up vehicles. There was only 1 person working on a day when a cruise ship is in port and everyone was looking to rent cars. Very poor planning on their part. It took over 90 minutes for us to get our vehicle which negatively impacted the limited time we had in France. As we are Canadian Tourists, we wanted to go to Juno Beach. The agent who booked us in, made a quick mention of having to pay tolls on the Normandy highway to get there, which came as no surprise to us. What was not mentioned, is that you can no longer pay those tolls with a credit card, and have to go on line and submit a credit card to pay. The day went off without incident, until it was time to return the vehicle. We did not allow enough time for significant traffic, and had to rush, to drop the vehicle off before closing time. We were under a time crunch to get back to the ship at 6:30, and could not find a nearby gas station to refuel the car. We had to leave the car with approximately 3/4 of a tank of gas left, and said to the clerk we would pay to fill it back up. What we thought would be about $20 in gas turned out to be over $100 in extra charges for gas. In addition, when we attempted to pay the tolls online, with a foreign credit card, unbeknownst to us, the transaction did not go through. We kept checking the Sanef (toll) website, and it said, no charges were pending. It wasn't until we contacted Sanef by phone, that they said to uncheck the box that said it was a rental car (which it was - how were we supposed to know that?) and we paid the charges immediately when we got home. To add insult to injury on a very hectic day, Enterprise then charged us another $40 CAD administration fee because the payment of the tolls was delayed. Even though they made a killing on our rental agreement, they charged us even more. A 7 hour rental vehicle should not cost $250.00 CAD. This has created a very poor impression of this agency, and although we tried to resolve it with them by email, they "stuck" us with every charge they could. Very disappointing, Enterprise! We got way better service from the customer service agent from Sanef, who saw what had happened and waived all fines associated with late payment. Enterprise needs to provide customers with information on how to properly pay these types of tolls to tourists who are unfamiliar with the locations, but rent from Enterprise because they have a decent reputation in North America. I would think twice about renting from this location, as all they care about it taking as much money from you as possible. This was a very negative experience for us.

Booked a car 6 weeks ahead of my trip to Le Havre, but received an email 12 hours before my arrival and after the agency closed for the evening that they did not have a car for me. I called customer service immediately to escalate and was told they would follow up but there was none. I showed up at the agency the next morning and was told that the email was final and that they had no options for me. I was unable to secure a vehicle, even after I immediately booked a backup at the agency next door - that agency also had no vehicle for me. Beware.

I have booked in advance having certain confirmed plans in Normandy. The agency has cancelled my booking the day before arrival ruining plans without offering any solution nor anything. What a service!

Quick pick up. Thank you for the help. The hours on Saturday are short but we used the key drop off and it was fine. Nice car. Not walking distance from our ship so we took a cab 6€. Friends took a cab 10€. Uber back 13€. Expensive with all the insurance but still cheaper than a ship excursion and we got to see what we wanted. Many tolls in the area.
