Rent somewhere else! We had a vehicle booked and when we arrived no reservation was found. They were full and we ended up not only not getting a car but also the employee did nothing to help us. They speak no english and made it very clear they feel like it’s not their problem although we had PAID already. Trying to amend the charge on our card now. Do NOT recommend!

Hmmm. Friendliness is different! Hard to find and no choice between the cars… The colleagues talked more between them then with the waiting customers.

This branch will take your money, “re-rent” your car and leave you stranded. I rented a car for 18:00 in Le Havre station upon arrival there is no Europcar desk like a normal business but a hidden entrance with an old piece of paper stuck to the wall with a phone number. On Europcar booking form you can book a car from 18:00 onwards but with an extra fee, when you select this option and try and contact Europcar they will not answer and refuse to help. Any customer service team is not in France and unwilling to help. So we were without the car I had paid over €200 for one day and Europcar will not help. The next morning we called the Europcar in Le Havre again to be told the car I had paid for was rented out as we didn’t collect on time (please remember the branch closes early but the website still allows you to rent cars…) they are unwilling to refund our money and will not help in any way to settle the dispute. As around up, Europcar in Le Havre are a total disgrace of a company who will knowingly take your money, not help you and not refund you. Please avoid them at all costs as they are the definition of Con artists.

We did not have much time as we were on a cruise ship. The woman checking us in was thorough and changed all the setting to English to make it easier for us. Many thanks in making uor trip through Normandy so memorable!

After our cruise ended at Le Harvre, need transportation from the port to CDG airport. Be aware, no train is available on Sunday. Very happy with the rental for good prices, friendly staff, easy pickup process and never asked me for any upgrade, extra insurance, etc. Paid exactly amount as booked. Highly recommended. Visited a few cities and stayed a couple nights during the return. Very good choices.
